“Liberation”

I've always loved nature and being outdoors. There's something about birds, wildlife and the natural world that I never get tired of.

While creating this kookaburra, I started adding my own marks, scribbles and layers of colour. And suddenly, it felt like me.

That's when the name Liberation came to mind.

There's something incredibly freeing about creating without worrying whether it fits anyone else's idea of what art should look like.

A kookaburra, a whole lot of colour and the freedom to make it my own.
