✨ About the Artwork:
In this mixed media artwork, I am exploring self-expression. I lay down an expressive background and incorporate imagery that comes to me, or I find that I get an emotional charge or energetic response from and incorporate the two together to create an interesting artwork. The inspiration for this piece came from the idea of self-care and treating one’s body with respect. I'm a true believer in preventative methods to care for one’s self whether that be from what we think and what we say to ourselves and others, or to stresses in our environment that we absorb into our bodies creating tension and resistance to eating well and moving our bodiesin order to make our body work efficiently and effectively throughout our lifetime.Hidden in the background there is a collaged text that says "When diet is wrong medicine is of no use, when diet is correct, medicine is of no need"
